Kitchen in solid and cherry veneers
Although Ian Tingle Design construct only the
furniture for such projects it should be noted that our degree-level
design qualifications can assist you with the overall layout, finish,
lighting and specifications for equipment for a complete environment.
This project is a good example. Ian Tingle Design completed a survey
of this newly created space and working with our client, produced
the most effective floor plan, ceiling plan and general positioning
of equipment to work in absolute harmony with our bespoke kitchen.
Project total value £16,780.00 (including all

Challenges in construction are always of interest
to us. To accommodate a workable kitchen plan for this space (which
has two main entrances), a suspended and under-lit drawer unit 1300mm
in width and with a radius of some 3 metres needed to be made to
comfortably house the gas hob against a protruding chimney breast.
Other innovative touches to this kitchen include a pull-out microwave
cupboard to maximise premium worktop area and a dog-legged corner
wall cabinet ensuring full use of internal space.
Project total value £15,430.00 (including
all appliances) |

Utilising our design skills to achieve a clutter
free and efficient work space Ian Tingle Design took the brief to
include everything a modern kitchen requires with minimal impact
to the all important work surface. The 1.5 metre square island unit
accommodates washing machine, dishwasher, oven, sink, gas hob, drawers,
waste disposal and power points while the full height suspended
cupboards behind provide fantastically voluminous crockery storage.
To the desired brief, all other essentials are held behind doors
including the kettle and toaster which pull out of the wall via
a powered up sliding trolley.

all appliances) |

The darkest of available real timber veneers offset with the clean
look of stainless steel, this kitchen has been laid out in its most
efficient form as dictated by the available space. 'No wall hung
units' was an integral aspect of the brief and has been accommodated
by extending worksurfaces forward to a depth of 750mm over the standard
600 to provide space for ducting whilst providing standing height
storage that is indeed not hung. Full height storage has been utilised
opposite to provide maximum storage together with a pull out tea
/ coffee making tray...ideas to satisfy customer demand of minimal
worksurface clutter.

all appliances) |
